Small Business Expo On Tomorrow

“People are always telling you that change is a good thing. But all they're really saying is that something you didn't want to happen at all... has happened.”

This is a line in a Nora Ephron film and it’s stuck in my memory. I think a lot of businesses begin because, at some point, something that someone didn’t want to happen at all… happened. And so, they decided to do something different, something new, and that change? Well, that change can change your life.

I think it’s a line that would resonate with more than a few of the dreamers and the doers at tomorrow’s ANZ Geelong Small Business Expo, on at The Pier from 10am – 3pm, followed by a celebration cocktail party.

EXPO HIGHLIGHTS

WORKSHOPS: There will be several workshops throughout the day targeting small business and showcasing small business, with workshops held by Just In Time PT, Strawberry Seed Consulting, Geelong Wellbeing Centre, Next Level Accountants and more.

COCKTAIL PARTY: To close the Geelong Small Business Expo, we are hosting a star-studded, fully catered Cocktail Party from 3:30pm- 5:30pm to celebrate the event with style and all get together out on the beautiful balcony at The Pier with some of Geelong’s finest.

Presented by Geelong Women in Business, the expo will showcase more than 50 local small businesses and is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about local creatives, service providers and problem solvers that you may never have realised are operating a business right here in our region.
