Adroit Scoops Community Engagement Award
Adroit Insurance and Risk took home the winner of the Best Community Engagement Program - Broker at the inaugural Insurance Business Awards on Friday 4 May.
Andrew Locke, Adroit Managing Director said the firm was thrilled with the win.

Achievements that were acknowledged in the win were the development of a dedicated Community Investment Strategy in 2014 that has seen Adroit dedicate over 460 hours of volunteering to local charities and organisations, raise $300,000 via hosting and co-organising of events, contribute $95,000 in sponsorship to local sporting clubs and community organisations, and donate $63,000 to local charities.
Partnering with local and regional community organisations has seen the firm reach the milestone of $2 million raised from their own and co-organised events.
'Some of their most notable events include partnering with the Cotton On Foundation to bring Run Ballarat to the community of Ballarat, and via the proceeds raised funding the refurbishment of the Ballarat Base Hospital Childrens Ward. The Adroit Geelong Charity Golf Day in 16 years has raised over $1 million including in excess of $100,000 in the last two years alone, with the proceeds helping to fund many local Geelong charity initiatives such as The Bethany Mens Centre. This true dedication was the deciding factor in them winning this prestigious award,' the firm said in a statement announcing the win.
