It’s all too easy to be overawed by sci-babble when you talk to people who work at the pointy end of science and research, but those at the very peak of their particular area of expertise are, these days, very good at breaking down the jargon barriers to explain what it is they know, what they don’t know but are trying to find out, and what that means for the rest of us.

That’s why it’s a big deal that two of the world’s leading SIDS research scientists are coming to Geelong to talk about what’s happening at the cutting edge of SIDS research around globe.

River’s Gift is hosting Dr Hannah Kinney and Dr Rita Machaalani from Harvard Medical School on Thursday March 9th at Deakin University’s Waurn Ponds campus. Joining the panel of presenters will also be River’s Gift research fellowship recipient, Fiona Bright from Adelaide University.

Bookings are essential, and you can secure your spot for the Corporate/Community presentation from 5:30pm here.
